Closed Home Sales for the month were 181, down from 211 the previous month, and down 11.3% from 204 home sales the prior year. Total Cash Sales for the month were 66, down from 82, the previous month, and down 23.3% from 86 cash sales the prior year.
Median Sale Price for the month was $656,900, up from $599,900 the previous month, and up 12.8% from $582,500 the prior year. Median Time to contract was 56 days, up from 43 days the previous month and down 27.3% from 77 days the prior year. Inventory (Active Listings) for the month was 644, down from 696 the previous month, and down 21.7% from 823 active listings the prior year. |

Primary Mortgage Market Survey
Mortgage Rates Average 7.40%As market conditions continue to evolve, borrowers should remember that shopping around for a mortgage rate and getting multiple quotes can potentially save them thousands over the loan’s lifetime. - The 30-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 7.40% as of October 8, 2026, up from last week when it averaged 7.28%. A year ago at this time, the 30-year FRM averaged 6.30%.
- The 15-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 6.73%, up from last week when it averaged 6.60%. A year ago at this time, the 15-year FRM averaged 5.53%.
